An eclectic mix of classical, jazz and folkloric acoustic guitar styles performed and arranged by two of London most critically acclaimed contemporary exponents. They will take you on a musical journey following the development of the Acoustic guitar from its origins in Spain and North Africa along a path throughout Europe, Africa and the Americas.
Born in Sardinia, but resident in London since 1994, Giorgio Serci is an award winning guitarist, composer, arranger and lecturer. He has recorded, performed and supported Jools Holland, Shirley Bassey, Basia, David Garrett, Julian Lloyd Webber, Kenny Wheeler, Dr John, Martin Taylor, Sylvain Luc, Nigel Kennedy, Andy Sheppard, Bill Bruford, Paolo Fresu, Harvie S, CBS Orchestra, BBC concert Orchestra and the Philharmonic Berlin amongst others. His has gained a MMus in Composition at Surrey University, and his works blend jazz, classical and world music with evocative melodies, world grooves and contemporary jazz harmonies.

Jonny is known for his band Oriole which features the likes of Ben Davis, Seb Rochford, Ingrid Laubrock, Nick Ramm and Adriano Adewale. He is a founder member of the F-ire Collective with whom he has released three critically acclaimed albums. He has also performed with Arun Ghosh, Soothsayers (featuring The Mad Professor), Pete Wareham, Polar Bear, Julia Biel, Roland Gift and Shabaka Hutchins amongst others.
His influences include Brazilian samba, flamenco, British folk and jazz which he mixes to electrifying effect.
