Harvey & Son (Lewes) Ltd. are delighted to announce the purchase of The Cat’s Back, in Wandsworth, South West London.

Under recent private ownership building works were carried out during which time the pub's cat disappeared. Sometime later the cat reappeared and somebody allegedly said "the cat’s back" - the expression stuck and the pub's name was changed in the cat's honour!

Any historic, old photographs or any archive of the house would be much appreciated.

We are delighted that our managing tenants will be Ian & Mary Turner who are returning to the licensed Wandsworth arena after many years in Sussex.

Their resident management couple will be Stuart & Natalie who start on 15th May.

The new Web Site is now in development and more information will follow.
